It was only a sunny smile…

“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light, it scattered the night, and made the day worth living!  – F.  Scott Fitzgerald                 I’m asking God to let this REMIND me throughout this day to SMILE  from my heart at each person I meet.  A simple smile, with a simple eye contact, can be a touch, a reaching out, a conduit of God’s grace and love, for a person that I meet today, for a family member, for a loved one.  It gets my focus off of me, onto the other person.  And people go through stuff, people go through hard, painful stuff, terrible stuff; there is an awful lot of suffering going on all around us, all the time, and three-quarters of the time we don’t even know about the other person’s suffering.  Let’s let God use us to touch one another with His encouragment and grace, reminding one another of the truths of His Word, listening to one another, genuinely caring for one another.  IMG_2210
